Another College shooting.

I said it would happen again and here we are. Six people were shot last Thursday in a Northern Illinois Lecture Hall. I've said it before and I'll say the same here. A "Gun Free Zone" is nothing but an easy target. We don't even have a motive this time.

I'm not going to repeat my earlier statements, it just puts me in a foul mood. I'm only going to offer a rhetorical question.

When was the last time there was a killing spree inside of a police department or a gun store? What we need are more "Gun Guaranteed Zones."

I've made my position very clear in my own blog. Giving everyone a gun is not the answer. It didn't work in the Old West and it will work even less well now. While a few people are stable and responsible gun owners...I wouldn't trust 99% of the general public with a firearm in a public place. The next person to write an out-of-state check in line at the 7-Eleven would get a bullet in the head. I think there is a better answer than crossfire.

Oh and think about this -- if hardly anyone has a gun -- what will they shoot with?

In europe, we don't have school shootings. NEVER. NEVER EVER. I mean NEVER. Why? People can't just buy guns. Why? BECAUSE PEOPLE DON'T NEED GUNS.

Your reasoning is wrong in every single way... More guns means more ways for people to get hurt. Period.

That took me about 45 seconds with Google to find. There are more, but I'm lazy.

Bert, it looks like you've just gotten your arse handed to you. Congratulations on becoming the Internet's latest idiot.
